Premier Lease Care

Take the Risk of Leasing Away

Leasing has many advantages over a purchase. It allows you to drive a nicer vehicle for less; you return the vehicle at lease‑end, pay any end‑of‑lease costs, and walk away; the vehicle’s future value doesn’t affect you financially.

However, leasing is not risk free. When you turn in your automobile at the end of your lease there are some key items to be aware of. The fact is that at lease end your vehicle will go through a thorough “turn in” inspection by an independent third party. This inspection will determine if there is excess wear and use on the car.

All of the interior and exterior, including the tires and wheels, will be inspected for excess wear and use.

You will be responsible for the expense to repair or replace all of the items that do not pass their inspection.

No matter the cause — dents, dings, scratches, chipped or cracked glass, damage to the wheel or wheel cover, tires worn unevenly, bulging, sidewall damage, or tires below minimum tread depth — these issues are often considered excessive wear and use.

Other excess wear and use items on the interior can include stains, scratches, tears, missing parts, or any feature that is not functioning as intended.

A Premier Lease Care plan takes most of the risk of leasing a vehicle away by providing coverage for up to $1,000 of excess wear and use protection per element or continuous damage across multiple elements with a $5,000 plan aggregate limit.

In addition to the lease‑end excess wear and use protection, Premier Lease Care has optional coverage:

With Premier Lease Care you can protect your vehicle beyond the Manufacturer’s Basic Warranty to the full term of your lease. With optional mechanical breakdown coverage, you have up to $1,000 per mechanical breakdown subject to your $5,000 plan aggregate limit. Protect your new vehicle, and your budget, with a Premier Lease Care plan.
